Our Story

Our founder lost both her maternal and paternal grandfathers due to a fall. Her  paternal grandfather was climbing the stairs, fell on the stairs and immediately died. Her  maternal grandfather fell while exercising on a treadmill, broke his left limb, was immobile for months, fell into depression and eventually died. As a result, our founder has a “FEAR OF FALLING”. “I cannot run on the steps, so I know how it feels,” she said. The fear of falling is real. Hence, we are designing a product that can prevent falls in the elderly. 
Our founder has 9+  years of experience in the medical industry, bringing a vast amount of medical knowledge to the table. She also has a Bachelors and Masters in Biomedical Engineering from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Our founder along with her exceptional team wants to utilize their talents and skills to improve the quality of elderly and their caregivers, which is how “Medsazi” was born.
